Greetings My Port Space Friends and Family,                                                                                                                                                                

It is the highest honor for me to be able to help shape, prepare, and equip our youth to transition into adulthood. I am truly delighted to be able to serve in this way. I have spent the last 20 years of my career striving to get to this point of service. 

Before I describe this wonderful work, let me tell a little about myself. I am a native of Mississippi. I have had a passion for education, training, and entrepreneurship for as long as I can remember. 

On a professional level, I have 20 years' experience in education, career development, human resources, management, corporate leadership and entrepreneurship. I am a nationally certified Career Development Facilitator through the National Career Development Association. 

I have been afforded the opportunity to work using restorative justice practices for at-risk youth that encourage alternative solutions for external district disciplinary actions resulting in educational disruption. All of these experiences--both personal and professional—have filled me, so that I can pour back into the young individuals that My Port Space will serve.   

My Port Space was designed to prepare our students to effectively operate and navigate adulthood through providing laser-focused career training, blended with competency-based practice to equip the whole student for secondary transition. My Port Space offers a rich variety of social emotional learning and restorative solutions that arm our students to effectively navigate the world that awaits them.  

I am so proud of this work, and I would like to personally invite you to sign up and take tour of our product to gain a full understanding of what we do. I’m certain you will find that My Port Space has a lot to offer. It is of our commitment to help our students where they are, and we do this by providing hands-on training. Our staff of Help Coaches will provide the highest quality of care to our students.

 
In addition, to our social emotional support activities and restorative practices, My Port Space provides conduits of applied learning where our staff meet with our students and teachers via leading-edge technology. We believe in preparing our students in the My Port Space Way of Excellence, culminating their programming with a resourced student developed electronic portfolio they can take with them as a professional resource on their journey into adulthood.
